I met Tony online
after getting back from Afghanistan...5 weeks later I was headed to
Asia and knew it would be a good chance to meet him for real. I
don't usually get so fascinated by someone so quickly that I adjust my
international travel plans to meet then, but he is such a great writer,
so insightful, so smart, and just so funny that I knew we needed to
spend some time together. We did, and I'm a better man for it.
When someone points out a shop to me and says "that's my favorite
bookstore," I know I've found a keeper...after all, how many people
even HAVE a favorite bookstore?
