Michael
is one of the many Michaels I know in DC, and meeting him was one of
the highlights of my time here in grad school. He was friends with Richmond
Michael and that's how we first got to know each other in the spring of
2000. Michael was a dancer in school when I met him and now
dances professionally, both in films, as a teacher, and as coach of a high school
dance team. In the past couple of years he
has worked as a veterinary technician and as a volunteer for an animal
rescue group, all while dancing AND going to school. Yeah, he's
amazing. We fell out of touch for a while but he got back in touch with me in 2004, something for which I am very,
very thankful, because he has played a far more important role in my
life than he realizes, and it's wonderful to have him back. he's currently going to design school in Spain.
