Painting
Since our stuff's not here yet and we haven't recarpeted yet, we spent today painting...without covering the carpet! We are SO crazy sometimes.
Adrian did great work today, while I spent the whole afternoon priming one room. Oh well. We'll run around Monday picking up stuff with a U-Haul, then we'll go back to the condo and paint some more. We have some fun colors in mind for one bedroom, hope it turns out well.
Monday evening I think I have to meet with someone involved in a book I'm working on. He's in town from Texas and we need to take the opportunity to meet. Bad timing, tho. We're hoping to have dinner with Dancin' Mike afterwards.
And yeah, the Bahamas are still a possibility later this week.

It's a book on information warfare at the strategic level. Things like critical infrastructure protection, the effect of arms control agreements on cyberwarfare, winning hearts and minds, that sort of stuff. Probably not too interesting to anyone outside the military or a really geeky graduate school program, as most of the work we're publishing was originally done for the Pentagon and similar audiences. We're simply editing the book, which includes papers done for my research institute in Colorado (hence my continuing participation). The other editor is shooting for the Poli Sci department head position at my old school and wants a current book on his resume, and I think that's the real reason this is going forward.
