Make Me an Offer

After about 48 hours on the market we have an offer on the house. It's a full price offer but it's contingent on the buyer selling their home. There are some advantages to this offer -- for instance, it allows me to continue marketing the house in case a better offer comes along, and I've already used the existence of this offer to encourage another potential buyer to raise their price. Anyway, we have a proposal, we're making a counterproposal (just changing some dates by which things need to be done) and we should have a better idea Monday where we stand. Keep your fingers crossed!!

That is awesome. That is really quick.

My fingers are crossed for you.

Yeah, I can't believe how fast that was. I'm hoping within a week we can drop the contingency from that contract and then quit showing the house, I'm already tired of getting the call that says GET OUT. If nothing else our restaurant bill is going to be through the roof this month.

Holy cow! That was fast.
